Mary Cathrine Cain, 46, of Burlington died at 3:23 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2010, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born October 15, 1963, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Howard and Mary Poerschmann Gulick. On October 10, 1987, she married Tim Cain in Burlington.

Mrs. Cain was a homemaker. She enjoyed crafting, music, dancing and watching movies, especially the "Twilight" series.

Survivors include her parents of Burlington; four children, Chad Poland, Teri Parsons, Tim J. Cain and Britney Cain, all of Burlington; six grandchildren; two step grandchildren; three sisters, Julia Gulick of Tampa, Florida, Holly Gulick of Burlington and April Gulick of Crystal Lake, Illoinois; and five brothers, Daniel Gulick, David Gulick, Craig Nuss and Mike Nuss, all of Burlington, and William Gulick of Danville.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lunning Chapel in Burlington where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

The funeral for Mrs. Cain will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lunning Chapel with the Reverend David Plooster officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington.

A memorial has been established for her family.
