Elmer Burrus Gulick, 79, of
519 N. Gertrude, died at 8:29
p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, at University
Hospitals, Iowa City.
He was born May 27, 1906, in
Des Moines County, to Ben B.
and Sarah Gulick. He married
Naomi Spitzmiller on July 30,
1928, at Monmouth, Ill. He was
employed by the Burlington
Community School District and
was a member of First United
Church of Christ. ,
Surviving: The wife; two
daughters, Mrs. Delores Decker,
Ft. Madison, and Mrs. Shirley
Woodard, Seneca Falls, N.Y.;
five grandchildren and one greatgrandchild;
several nieces and
nephews.
Fune.al: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday,
Lunning Chapel, the Rev. Richard
Sather; Memorial Park Cemetery.
A memorial for First
United Church of Christ has
been established.
