MEDIAPOLIS - Mrs. Mabel
Gulick, 82, of Mediapolis Care Center,
Mediapolis, died at 2:30 a.m.
Saturday Dec. 13 at the Care Center.
She was born Aug. 17, 1898, in
Henry county, to John and Mary
Carter Jackson. May 30, 1917, she
married Chester "Roy" Gulick, in
Burlington. He died January 1,
1954.
She was a member of the Open
Bible church.
Surviving: Three sons, John and
Earl, both of Burlington, and
Clyde, West Burlington; one brother,
Ross Jackson, Portland, Ore.;
one sister, Ora Holmes, Ottumwa;
four grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
Committal services: Memorial
Park cemetery, 1 p.m. Monday, the
Rev. Jack Caves.
