MRS. A. L. BERRY DIES IN HOSPITAL
Pioneer Sperry Resident, the Mother of Burlington Persons, Succumbs to Illness Here.

Mrs. Eunice Elizabeth Berry, 71, wife of Addison L. Berry and pioneer resident of Sperry, died at Burlington hospital at 9:30 yesterday morning. She had been a patient at the hospital for several weeks.

Mrs. Berry wag born in Iowa, March 26 1860, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Griffith, She was married to Mr. Berry 50 years ago last April. Besides her husband she is survived by three sons and three daughters. They are: James Berry of Burlington, rural route; W. E. Berry of Jonesborough, Arkansas; Addison L. Berry, Jr., of Peoria, Illinois; Mrs. George Miller of Danville; Mrs. Howard Baker of Burlington, and Miss Edith Berry of Burlington, rural route. Twelve grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Berry was a member of Sperry Methodist church.

The body was taken to Prugh's chapel where it will remain until funeral arrangements can be completed.
