Jack Lee Crawford, 84, of Burlington, died at his home on Wednesday, August 6, 2014. He was born on June 30, 1930 in Morning Sun, Iowa, the son of Chester P. and Marjorie E. Thompson Crawford. He married Virginia A. Willson, November 18, 1951 in Burlington, Iowa.

Jack was a truck driver. He enjoyed jokes and visiting with people at the casino. He was a hard worker, working full time since he was a young man.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia, one daughter, Tammi Myers of Burlington, Iowa and a son Lee Crawford of Mediapolis, Iowa. A few close friends, Kenny Smith, Richard Beames, Steve Losey, Dan Devilbiss, Tom Daly and a special companion Su Tu his pet dog. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Don, and one son-in-law, Eugene Myers.

Cremation has been entrusted to the loving care of Prugh Funeral Service. No formal services are planned at this time.

A memorial has been established for P.A.W.S., Ft. Madison
