Mrs. Lorraine May Anderson, 86, of Burlington, died at 1:35 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Great River Medical Center - Klein Center.
Born May 15, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of Michael J. and Sonia L. (Hallen) Warnimont. On February 28, 1948 she married William T. Anderson in Chicago. He preceded her in death on January 25, 1977.
Mrs. Anderson was a graduate of Hirsch High School in Chicago. She was the owner/operator of Anderson Water Conditioner (Culligan) for 36 years, selling the business in 1995.
Throughout their marriage Lorraine and Bill enjoyed dancing and traveling. Lorraine was an avid bridge player and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Ruth Circle at her church, PEO Chapter NH, Norman Circle of Kings Daughters and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Survivors include two sons, Lawrence (Carol) Anderson of Morris, Illinois and Steven (Karen) Anderson of Burlington; two daughters, Gail (Richard) Savage of Las Cruces, New Mexico and Susan (Rick) Garcia of Burlington; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Memorials have been established for Alzheimer's Association and Great River Hospice.
