Helen Ruth Weicher, 94, of Burlington, died at 1:45 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2005 at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born September 20, 1910, in Burlington, she was the daughter of James Patrick and Anna Christine Scheu Hanrahan. On June 17, 1935, she married Alfred A. Weicher in Burlington. He died November 27, 1997.

Mrs. Weicher was an accounting clerk at Iowa Southern Utilities for eight years.

Survivors include three daughters, Judith Reardon of Scottsdale, Arizona, Mary Beth Bennett of Burlington and Barbara Wolf of Lakewood, Colorado; one son, Michael Weicher of Burlington; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Eileen Riffel of Burlington.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
