Sheldon Dwight "Shelly" Neff, 58, of Burlington, died Friday, November 14, 2003, at his home.

Born December 1, 1944, in Burlington, he was the son Dwight Stull and Juia A.Morgan Neff. On May 7,1966, he married Mary Ann Siefken in Burlington.

Mr. Neff retired from the Burlington Northern Railroad anfter 41 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed boating, restoring cars, especially Thunderbirds, and restoring houses.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Allen Neff of Burlington; his mother of Burlington; two brothers, Jerry Neff and Phillip Neff, both of Burlington; three sisters, Sharon Wixom, Valerie Neff and Beverly Levitt, all of Burlington; four grandchildren, and numberous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and one daughter.

The funeral for Mr.Neff will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Prugh's Chapel, Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

A memorial has been established in his memory.
