Eldred Naomi Briear, 82, of 1902 South 10th Street, Burlingotn, Iowa died at her home Tuesday morning, November 11, 2003.

She was born July 2, 1938 in Corning, Iowa in her grandmothers house the daughtrer of George and Mary Naomi Loveland Winslow.

On July 2, 1938 she married Charles Lyle Briear in Corning, Iowa. He died September 29, 1998.

Mrs. Briear was a homemaker. She enjoyed oil painting, crosstitching, puzzles, writing mini stories and little books for her family.

She is survived by one son, Michael Briear of Burlington; two daughtrers; Sharon Carey of Marshfield, Missouri and Dianna Briear of Burlington, Iowa. One grandson, two granddaughters, one great grandson, several nieces and nephews. And a special friend Lucille Miller of Wever, Iowa

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and two brothers.

No formal services are planned. Her body has been cremated. Private services will be at a later date.

A memorial has been established for the Visiting Nurses.
