Anna Belle Laue, 93, of Burlington, died at 9:02 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2003 at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born February 21, 1910, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa she was the daughter of Elias and Julia Webster James. On February 28, 1931, she married Oscar Laue in Monmouth, Illinois. He died June 27, 1989.
Mrs. Laue was a homemaker. She was of the Methodist faith. She was a member of the Des Moines County Farm Bureau, Senior Citizens activity group and Women's Circle of Zion Church. She enjoyed traveling and loved cooking.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Lou Warth of Danville, Iowa; one son, Richard Laue of Burlington; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; many cousins; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters, one brother and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening Ocatober 28, at Prugh's Chapel.
The funeral for Mrs. Laue will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Prugh's Chapel. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for Hope Haven Area Development.
