Mary Louise Millspaugh, 83, of 2910 Madison Ave., Burlington, died at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999, at Burlington Medical Center Klein Unit.

Born Nov. 5, 1916, in Mediapolis, she was the daughter of J. Craig and Stella R. (Hutchcroft) Dodds. She married Paul Millspaugh on Oct. 3, 1940, in Danville. He died Jan. 7, 1994.

Mrs. Millspaugh was a 1934 graduate of Wapello High School and a graduate of Burlington Beauty Academy. She was a beautician and also worked in her husband's office equipment business.

She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Women's Fellowship, Hilltoppers, and was leader of the Naomi Circle. She also was a member of Chapter AI of the National TTT Society.

She is survived by two sisters, Ida Belle Buster of Wapello and Leota D. Thomas of Lansing, KS, and three nieces.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one nephew.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Prugh's Chapel.

The funeral for Mrs. Millspaugh will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Prugh's Chapel, with the Rev. Milo Van Veldhuizen officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for First United Church of Christ.
