Roberta Louise Simonson

Roberta Louise Simonson, 75, of Danville, died at 4:25 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, 1996, at Burlington Care Center in Burlington.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Church in Burlington, with the Rev. Traverce Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery at Burlington. Visitation is open at Lunning Chapel in Burlington, with the family present from 7 to 8:30 tonight. A memorial has been established to her church.

Mrs. Simonson was born Dec. 14, 1920, in Fairfield, the daughter of Rolla and Verna Dochterman Millhouse. she graduated from Fairfield High School. On feb. 14, 1942, she married Carol Simonson in Fairfield. He died Oct. 2, 1977. She had been a bank teller at West Burlington Bank for 26 years. She was a member of First Christian Church in Burlington.

Surviving are two sons, Terry of Danville, Rollan of Burlington; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Her parents preceded her in death.
