Mrs. Amalia Stodt, 1919 Lucas Avenue, died at St. Francis hospital Tuesday morning (October 31, 1961) at 2:35 following an extended illness.

She was born in Rohle, Austria, September 7, 1869, the daughter of Ernst and Marie Rotter, and came to Burlington 71 years ago. She was married to Joseph Stodt in Burlington on May 14, 1900, and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic church, and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church.

Survivors include: three daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Rose) Lindstadt, with whom Mrs. Stodt made her home; Mrs. Adam (Regina) Mohler, and Mrs. Ann Huppenbauer, all of Burlington; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Marie Bittner, West Burlington; and number of nieces and nephews. Her husband; two sons and two sisters are dead.

Services will be in St. Paul's Catholic church, Thursday morning at 9. The cortege will leave Prugh's Chapel, at 8:50. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery, West Burlington. The Rosary will be recited in Prugh's Chapel, Wednesday evening at 7:30.

Funeral services for Mrs. Amalia Stodt, who passed away October 31, 1961, will be held in St. Paul's Catholic church, Thursday morning at 9:00 o'clock. The cortege will leave Prugh's Chapel at 8:50 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, West Burlington. The rosary will be recited in Prugh's Chapel Wednesday evening at 7:30 o'clock.
