Brought Home a Corpse.

One week ago yesterday Mr. L. W. Waldo, of this city, departed for St. Louis to work for the railroad company. He was a carpenter and left here apparently in good health. Yesterday his remains were brought back to Burlington, his death occurring last Saturday after a short illness of only two days. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon from his residence, 614 South twelfth street. He was buried by the A.O.U.W. (Ancient Order of United Workmen) society, of which was a member.
