AUGUST TEPE, SR.,
DIES; RESIDENT
FOR 31 YEARS

August Tepe, Sr., 68 years old, and a resident of Burlington for thirty one years, died at his home, 1216 Doemland street at 3:45 o'clock, Sunday afternoon.

Funeral services will be held from the St. John's Catholic church on Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock. The body will leave the home at 8:30 o'clock Wednesday morning. Burial will be made in Aspen Grove cemetery.

Mr. Tepe was born in Oldenberg, Germany, on October 15, 1857. He
married to Miss Elizabeth Sperslage on November 4, 1885 and in
1894 he and his wife came to America and took up their residence in
Burlington. For the past thirty years he has been employed in the Embalmin Burial Case company. He was a member of the St. John's society.

Surviving are his wife, one son, August Jr., one daughter, Elizabeth, and one sister, Mrs. Caroline Schmidt. One brother preceded him in death.
