BURLINGTON WOMAN SUCCUMBS FOLLOWING OPERATION

Mrs. Augusta Bade, a life long resident of Burlington, died at the Burlington hospital yesterday at 4:30 o'clock following an operation for appendicitis. She had been at the hospital since Saturday.

Mrs. Bade was born in Burlington on Mar 2, 1862. Her husband, Fred Bade died twenty-five years ago and surviving her are two brothers, Fred and Theodore Landhauser, of Burlington. She was a member of Grace M.E. church, Paul Cater lodge of Rebekahs, the Hawkeye Natives auxialiary and the Degree of Honor. Her home was at 404 Summer street.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
