Mrs. Phyllis Ann Saldeen, 53, 2927 Valley, died Friday in Memorial hospital after an extended illness.
She was born Mar. 30, 1917 in Burlington, daughter of William J. and Anna Hartman. Oct. 14, 1936 she married Harry Saldeen in Peoria, IL.
She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving: Her husband, six sons, James, Jon, Jeffrey, Jerry, Joshua, Daniel, all of Burlington; two daughters, Mrs. Jo Ann Sherril, Iowa City, Susan Saldeen, Burlington; two brothers; Wesley Hartman, Burlington, Russell Hartman, Tustin, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Lois Blow, Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Mildred Wasson, New London, Mrs. Charlotte Gerling, Burlington; mother, Mrs. Anna Hartman, New London; 11 grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, 2 p.m., Sheagren funeral home; Rev. John Vickers, Greenwood cemetery at West Burlington.
