Roger William Powell, 49, of Burlington, died at 1:35 a.m. Saturday, March 17 2007, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born June 28 1957, in Burlington, he was the son of Harold Harry and Rosie Mary Gaylord Powell.
Mr. Powell worked as a Truck driver.
Survivors include two daughters, Amanda J. Powell and Megan D. Powell, both of Davenport; eight brothers and sisters, Ronald Powell of Burlington, Susan Hester of Mediapolis, Jerry Powell and Fredrick Powell of Burlington; Sally Cline and Lorraine Leffler, both of Fort Myers, Fla., Rebecca Douglas of Washington state, and Betty Lemke of Tucson, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The graveside funerel service and inturnment for Mr. Powell will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Bazel cemetery, rural Burlington. There will be no visitation. Per his request, cremation has been accorded.
Lunning Chapel has assisted the family with arrangments.
