William E. Cross Sr., 92, of Dundee, Fla., formerly of Burlington, died Thursday, Aug. 20 1987, in Dundee.
Born April 3, 1895, in Burlington, he married Vena Moyers Nov 11, 1915 in Fort Madison.
He was a longtime resident of Burlington before moving to Florida.
Surviving are six sons; Charles Cross of Burlington, Chester Cross of Florida, William E. Cross Jr. of Florida, Walter Cross of Michigan, Wesley Cross of Burlington, and Lloyd Cross of Oakville; one daughter, Juanita Cline of Burlington; 38 grandchildren; 69 great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
