W.H. Moyer

William Henry Moyer, 1835 Page street, a mill worker at Northwestern Cabinet company for the past 25 years, died Jan. 10, in St. Francis hospital.

A life resident of Burlington, Moyer was born on Nov. 7, 1894, and was married to Ardith Marie Dawson on Sept. 28, 1920. She survives, as do a son and 3 daughters; Kenneth Charles Moyer of Richmond, Calif., Mrs. Delores Jean Epperson, Davenport, and Mrs. Laura Marie Cross, of Burlington.

Also surviving are a step-son, Harold Lorraine Dawson, Coos Bay, Wis.; a brother, Robert Moyer, Carman, Ill.; a half-brother, John Knott, Alton, Ill., and 3 half-sisters; Avis Ireland, Ft. Madison, and Elsie Concanon and Bertha Bloomberg, both of Burlington.

There are 11 grandchildren.

A daughter, a granddaughter, half-brother and a sister died previously.

Moyer was a member of West Hill Methodist church and of the M.W.A.

The Rev. Arthur Brent will conduct last rites at the Burnett-Wallen funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
