Rudolph H. "Rudy" Bliesener, 82, of Burlington died Saturday, September 30, 1978 in Klein Unit of Burlington Medical Center. Born April 27, 1896 in Burlington, he was the son of Frederick and Dorothy (Wiswedel) Bliesener. He Married Helen Lillian Russell on July 17, 1918, in Burlington.
He was a retired Burlington Northern railroad employee, WW1 Army Veteren, and a member of First United Church of Christ, Brotherhood of Railway Clerks, Patriots Lodge AF&AM, and Eagles. Surviving: The wife; two sons Sanford and Ronald Bliesener, both of Burlington, one daughter Dorothy Bliesener of Middletown; six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; a sister Mrs. Esther (Glenn) Whitham of Burlington. Funeral 10 a.m. Monday, Lunning Chapel, Rev. Alvin Volle officiating. Burial in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
