Richard "Dick" Keith Fry, 69, of Wever died at 2:49 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2008, at Great River Medical Center ED in West Burlington.

Born Nov. 29, 1938, in Burlington, he was the son of Lee William Fry and Thelma Maxine Ramsey.

Mr. Fry worked as an electrician with Local 13 for 39 years.

He was of the Protestant faith. He was a fan of the Chicago Bears, Hawkeyes and Cardinals. He served in the Army and was a charter member of AM Vet Post 29. He enjoyed playing pool, fishing and hunting mushrooms.

Survivors include two daughters, Robin Grelk of Donnellson and Theresa Wallace of Mediapolis; two brothers, Dennis Fry of Gladstone, Ill., and Michael Fry of West Burlington; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; nieces; nephews; and companion, Debbie Ott of Wever.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Visitation with family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Prugh's Funeral Home.

The funeral for Mr. Fry will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Prugh's Funeral Home, with the Rev. JudyAnn Morse officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Augusta Cemetery in Augusta.

A memorial has been established.
