Mrs. Helen Knaths

Mrs. Helen Knaths, 102-year-old widow of world famed artist Karl Otto Knaths, died at 2:18 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at her home in Provincetown, Mass.

The daughter of John C. And Wilhelmina Mehler Weinrich, she was born July 1, 1876, in Yarmouth. Her husband died March 8, 1971.

A former Burlington resident, she was an artist in her own right and Provincetown's oldest resident.

Nieces and nephews survive, including, Ernest Starker, Hazel Witte, and Lucille Weinrich, all of Burlington.

Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Monday, Prugh's Chapel, Rev. Marvin Weidner; Trinity cemetery in Henry County.
