Floraine Evelyn "Kezzy" Miller, 86, of Burlington, died at 4:10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, at New London Nursing and Rehab Center.

Born Oct. 19, 1921, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Fred. C. and Minnie A. Broeker Miller.

Miss Miller was a supervisor and operator for Northwestern Bell for 37 years. She was a member of Oak Street Baptist, the church choir, Lots Circle, Epsilon Sigma Alpha sorority and Telephone Pioneers.

Survivors include her friend of 60 years, Mildred Foster of Burlington; and her adopted family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Prugh's Chapel, where her adopted family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The funeral for Miss Miller will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Oak Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Steven Parker officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
