Vicky Lynn Collier Kerfoot, 45, of Middletown, formerly of Keokuk, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2008,as the result of a hit and run accident in Middletown.

Born April 5, 1962, in Fort Madison, she was the daughter of James Larry and Rose Etta Paris Collier. She married Chad Kerfoot.

Ms. Kerfoot graduated from Keokuk High School in 1981. She enjoyed drawing, playing pool, swimming and horseback riding.

Survivors include one daughter, Emily Rose Mary Kerfoot of Middletown; one son, Samuel Alan James Kerfoot of Savannah, Tenn.; one sister, Cherie Colwell of Keokuk; her father and stepmother, James and Shirley Collier of Port Charlotte, Fla.; nieces and nephew.

She was preceded in death by her mother, her aunt and uncle, who helped raise her, and her grandparents.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday at Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

The funeral for Ms. Kerfoot will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with the Rev. Bill Hauser officiating.

A memorial has been established.
