Arley Stigge

Arley F. Stigge, 57, of 1433 Thul, died early Wednesday morning at Burlington hospital following a short illness.

He was born Mar.4, 1900, in Des Moines County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stigge. Dec. 13, 1923, he married the former Daisy Westerbeck at West Burlington. He was a boilermaker at the C.B. & Q. shops and was a member of Bethany Lutheran church.

Surviving are his wife, a son, Marvin A. Stigge, Burlington, a daughter, Mrs. Arlene Thompson, Milwaukee, Wis.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stigge, Sr., Prairie Grove; two sisters, Mrs. Lester Dietsch, New London, and Mrs. Ervin Peterman, West Burlington; three brothers, Walter, New London, Willis and Fred, Jr., both of Prairie Grove; also five grandchildren.

Services will be held at Giles funeral home Friday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Adam Ruby will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
