Raymond Iserman
Raymond Frederick Iserman, 90, of Danville, died Sunday, Feb. 29, 2004, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born Dec. 18, 1913, in Hampton, he was the son of Fred and Emma Finke Iserman. On Nov. 29, 1943, he married Wilma Leora Leet in Oskaloosa. She died March 26, 2003.
Mr. Iserman worked for the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant in Middletown for 12 years. He also farmed northeast of Danville.
He attended country schools. He was a member of Danville United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of "The Farm Club."
Survivors include one daughter, Teresa Hardin of Oakville; one grandson; and one great-granddaughter.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, one son, two brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at Elliott Chapel in New London, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
A graveside service for Mr. Iserman will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Prairie Grove Cemetery in West Burlington, with Pastor Richard Latta officiating.
A memorial has been established.
