Mary H. Beans

Mary H. Beans, 2719 Mt. Pleasant, died in Burlington hospital at 3 p.m Monday. She was 98 years old.

Miss Beans was the daughter of Elijah and Eliza Sipes Beans, and was born Dec. 31, 1863, at Middletown.

A registered nurse, Miss Beans lived in Lincoln, Neb., for 40 years. For the past year and a half she had made her home with her niece, Mrs. Sam Brower. She was of the Baptist faith. Six brothers and three sisters died previously.

Several nieces and nephews survive.

Services will be held at the Elliot-Lunning chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Howard Johnson, pastor of Oak Street Baptist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Middletown.
