Marilyn Enslow

Marilyn Enslow, 65, of 3040 Highway 103, Fort Madison, died at 12:03 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 1995, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born Jan. 18, 1930, in Canton, Mo., she was the daughter of Linn and Aileen Ball Moore. She married John Colton Enslow on Oct. 15, 1950, in Fort Madison.

Mrs. Enslow worked as an assistant cashier for Lee County Bank and Trust for 19 years until her retirement. She also worked at J.C. Penney Co. in Fort Madison.

She was an active member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, John Enslow Jr. of Wichita, Kan., Lee Enslow of Ames and Alan Enslow of Peoria, Ill.; one sister, Virginia Bryan of Danville, Va.; four grandchildren; two nephews; one niece and three cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Friday until noon on Saturday at the Barr Memorial Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday evening.

The funeral for Mrs. Enslow will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist, with the Rev. Robert Kraus officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

A memorial has been established in the name of Marilyn Enslow with the First Baptist Church.
