Memorial Service for Rev. J. E. Gaar at Hudson Sunday
A memorial service for Rev. J. E. Gaar, who was born in the Hudson community 77 years ago, will be held at the Nazarene Church at Hudson October 21 st at 10 o'clock a.m. Rev. G. M. Akin of Vivian will deliver the sermon.
Rev. Gaar passed away October 15th and was burnied in Des Moines, Iowa, October 17. He was the retired president of the Hudson Holiness Camp Meeting Association and he held Evangelistic meetings throughout the United States.
The deceased was born in the Hudson community and lived there until about, forty-five years ago. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie L. Gaar.
