Ralph E. Warth

Ralph E. Warth, 81, of Route 2, Danville, died Thursday morning, May 15, at Burlington Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 30, 1904, at Burlington, to Henry and Grace Wykert Warth. He married Beatrice Woodard on Dec. 23, 1934 at Burlington, she died Feb. 11, 1966.

He was a retired JI Case employee and member of the Danville Methodist Church.

Survivng: one daughter, Mrs. Elvira(Dwight)Byerly, Mediapolis; one sister, Laura Holstein, Burlington; three brothers, Milo, Sperry, Chester, Danville, and Gilbert, Dallas, Texas; one granddaughter, two stepgrandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and three stepgreat-grandchildren.

Friends may call Saturday evening from 7-9 at Elliot chapel, New London. Services for Mr. Warth will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Elliot Chapel, New London, with the Rev. Gordon McMillan and the Rev. Richard Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in Jagger Cemetery, Danville.

A memorial has been established for the Danville United Methodist Church.
