Mrs. Florence M. (Babe) Vahle, 72, Burlington Rt. 1, died at 4:30 p.m.Friday, Jan. 30, in St .Francis Continuation Care Center.
She was born July 10, 1903, in Concordia Township, Des Moines County, the daughter of William and Wilhelmina Dietz Brookhiser. She married William Rehm May 11, 1925, he died earlier. On May 22, 1936, she married Lorenz H. (Dutch) Vahle, who died Dec. 18, 1965
Mrs Vahle was a member of Spring Grove United Methodist Church and of United Methodist Women.
Surviving Two sons, Walter R. Rehm, August F. Vahle, both of Burlington,one brother, William Brookhiser Sr., Wever, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Prugh's Chapel, Rev. Floyd E. Cripps;
Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial for the Spring Grove Church has beenes tablished.
