Wanda Waterman

Wanda Marie Waterman, 45, of Route 1, Danville, died at 4:40 a.m. Tuesday at University Hosptial, Iowa City.

Born Jan.25, 1942, at Mount Pleasant, Iowa, she was the daughter of H. Wayne and Mary E. Pomeroy Getchell. She married Samuel H. Waterman June 12, 1960, in Burlington.

Mrs. Waterman was a registered nurse at Burlington Medical Center. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ.

Surviving are her husband, Samuel; two daughters, Christina and Melanie, two sons, Tony and Mike, all at home; her parents, Burlington; two brothers, Philip Getchell, rural Danville, and Melvin Getchell, Burlington and one granddaughter.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Prugh's chapel.
Services for Mrs. Waterman will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the First United Church of Christ with Rev. Gene Kraus officiating. Burial will be in Jaggar Cemetery.

A Memorial has been established for the First United Church of Christ.
