Mrs. Hattie Tibbets
FT. MADISON - Mrs. Hattie Tibbets, 84, Mayor Robert Tibbets' mother, died at the King's Daughter's Home Friday night at 8:15.

Services will be Monday, at Clements chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery. The Rev. Roy G. Ives will officiate.

She was born April 17, 1879, in Ft. Madison, and always had lived there. She was married Sept. 10, 1902 to David Russell Tibbets in Burlington. He died in 1954.

She was a member of the First Christian church and the Christian Women's Fellowship. Her parents were James and Emily Welding Davey.

Survivors include two sons, David, Menomonee Falls, Wis.; and the mayor; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Eva Davey, Ft. Madison; two nieces; two nephews and three grandchildren.

Her parents, three brothers and a sister are dead.
