Graveside services for Harold O. and Elizabeth T. Carter of Eureka Springs, Ark., formerly of Burlington, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Aspen Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Gene Turner officiating.

Harold O. Carter was born Nov. 28, 1916, in rural Fairfield, the son of Harry and Mary Heston Carter. He died May 18, 1999, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

Elizabeth T. Carter was born Aug. 26, 1920, in rural Stockport, the daughter of Jessie Thomas and Issie Peck Giberson. She died Sept. 1, 2005, at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.

Harold and Elizabeth were married April 30, 1941, in Kahoka, Mo.

Survivors include four daughters, Tanya Morrison of rural Carman, Ill., Brenda Lipson of Santa Monica, Calif., Cindy Green of Eagle Rock, Mo., and Sherry Joseph of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
