Mrs. Minnie Ellen Thompson

MT. PLEASANT - Mrs. Minnie Ellen Thompson, 91, died at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Ingwersen Rest Home, here.

She was born March 8, 1884, in Pleasant Grove, the daughter of Robert H. and Ella M. Wasson. On March 14, 1904, she married Milton Thomas; he died in 1948. She married Nathan Thompson in Danville on Sept. 9, 1950; he died in 1968.

Surviving two sons, Eugene Thomas, Mt. Pleasant, Joe Thomas, Rogers, Ark.; three daughters, Mrs. Elsie A. Smith, Mt. Pleasant, Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Ruby Ballou, Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Robert(Selma)Harrison, Lake Pine, N.J.; one sister, Mrs. Clarence Voris, West Burlington; one brother, Dewey Wasson, Burlington; twelve grandchildren, and a number of great-grandchildren.

Services: 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Weir-Cookes funeral home, Mt. Pleasant; Rev. Charles Comfort; Forest Home cemetery.
