Inez Frank

Inez J. Frank, 84, of rural Denmark, died at 5:15 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2006, at her home.

Born Oct. 6, 1921, in Des Moines County, she was the daughter of Joseph and Vena Cooley Robbins. On May 30, 1940, she married Churley A. Frank in Burlington. He died Aug. 19, 1961.

Mrs. Frank was a farmer and a homemaker.

She attended Pontoosuc Community Church in Pontoosuc, Ill. She enjoyed raising chickens, milking cows, gardening, canning, making quilts, Bible studies, motorcycling with her husband and especially making angel food cakes and egg noodles.

Survivors include one daughter, Cecilia Johnson of Denmark; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; three sisters, Maxine Corman, Nellie Hill and Virginia Timmerman, all of Burlington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hass-Thielen Funeral Home. There will be no family visitation.

The graveside service for Mrs. Frank will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Jaggar Cemetery in rural Danville, with the Rev. Paul Smith officiating.

Memorials have been established for the Denmark Fire & Rescue and Lee County Hospice.
