2 killed as cycle car crash

Kingston - A man and a young woman were killed in the collision of the motorcycle they were riding and a car at the south edge of this town; 12 miles north of Burlington, about 9:05 p.m. Saturday.

Memorial hospital, Eastman unit, identified the dead as:

Ronald Charles Cornick, 27, Mediapolis, Rt. 1 and;
Celia Marie Laue, 15, 2124 Ridge Row, Cornick is her brother-in-law.

The pair was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Details of the accident were sketchy pending investigation by Des Moines County sheriff's officers and Iowa Highway Patrolmen, who were at the scene.

Raymond A. Woodsmall, 43, Wapello, Rt. 1, driver of the automobile, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, officers said.
