With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Sue Brown Helton of Douglasville, Georgia, born in Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on January 15, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Howell Eugene Helton; her parents, James Gordon Brown and Mattie Lou VanSant Brown; her grandson Davis; and her son-in-law Jerry.

She is survived by : her children, Debbie Haddle (Jimmy), Donna Cargle, Johnny Helton and Tammy Beasley (David); her grandchildren, Brad Scott, Matthew Cargle, Christian Helton, Michael Helton, Katie Milliner, Devan Brewer and Kelly Stevens; and her sisters, Madeline Bramblett and Marie Coogler. She is also survived by four children.
