Crushed by the Cars.
Manchester Press:—A most deplorable accident occured here, Tuesday afternoon, in the Illinois Central yards. Tony B. Myers, a brakeman while making a coupling in the eastern part of the yard near the watering tank, slipped under the moving train, and was badly crushed about the ankle on the left, and on the thigh of the right log. Members of the train crew discovered the unfortunate man, and immediately took him to the Martin House. The company’s surgeon, Dr. C. C. Bradley, was called and did everything possible to relieve the pain. Mr. Myers' parents and little sister arrived here, Tuesday evening, and were patient watchers at his bedside until Wednesday evening, when death came to relieve him of his suffering
