Bobbi (Barbara) Troester, 49 of Fairfax, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Private family memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 25th at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Inurnment will follow at Springville City Cemetery. Bobbi was born on May 15, 1971 in Manchester, Iowa the daughter of Larry and Annabelle (Menge) Conner. She graduated from West Delaware High School with the class of 1989. Bobbi attended cosmetology school. She married Curt Troester on November 21, 1992 in Greely, Iowa. She enjoyed time with her family and vacations to the beach. Bobbi’s greatest joy came from the three F’s: faith, family, and friends. She will be missed by too many people to count. Her love, kindness, and positive attitude changed many lives for the better. Bobbi was a devoted and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Bobbi is survived by her husband, Curt Troester of Fairfax, IA; three children, Megan (Brian) Copeland of Palo, IA; Marisa Troester (Clay Coe) of Galesburg, IL; and Avery (Elizabeth) Troester of Omaha, NE; four grandchildren, Easton and Emmitt Copeland, Dawson and Cameron Coe; a brother, Burdette (Bev) Conner of Edgewood, IA; a sister, Brenda (Robert) Phelan of Greely, IA; mother-in-law, Diane (Paul) Bohlken of Marion, IA; father-in-law, Edward Troester of Marion, IA; two special companions, her dogs, Ruby and Chance; and many loving cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Theresa Conner, infant grandson, Payton Coe and sister-in-law, Roxanne Troester.
