A Fatal Accident.
• Manchester Press:—Adolph Schultz, the seventeen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Schultz of this city, died this morning at two o’clock as the result of injuries received by falling under a train of cars at the Central depot. The accident occurred yesterday afternoon. The boy jumped onto the caboose of a freight train which was backing down toward the bridge, and in some manner, it is not known how, fell under the cars, presumably in attempting to get off. He was run over by four or five cars and horribly mangled, there being at no time hope of recovery.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born March 1, 1882 and died Nov. 30, 1899. He is buried in Oakland Cemetery.
