Fatal Accident to a 3-yr-old.
Manchester Press:—A sad accident occurred near Masonville last Thursday, which terminated yesterday morning in the death of the three year old son of Daniel Huyck. The child in walking across the kitchen floor overturned a pail of boiling suds which his mother was using in scrubbing, burning both arms and the right side of his body in a frightful manner. So severe were the burns much of the skin came off with the clothing, and the unfortunate child suffered terrible pain. After the accident the boy caught a severe cold, hastening his death in no small degree.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Dale who was born in 1896 and died July 26, 1899. He is buried in the Greenwood Cemetery.
