Death of Mrs. G. W. Brindell.
Mrs. G. W. Brindell, who will be remembered as the wife of a very popular pastor of the M. E. church in Decorah, up to a quarter century ago, died at her home in Manchester last Saturday. Death came to her in one of its speediest forms. She was found after dinner in an unconscious state, lying in the middle of the floor, and died at 4 p.m., without regaining consciousness, apoplexy being the cause of death. She was a woman universally beloved whereever known for her sweet and cheerful spirit. Her husband died at Manchester in 1897 and was buried on Easter Sunday. The only surviving member of the family is the son Charles, who lives in Osage.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Anna who was born Oct. 26, 1832 and died Dec. 31, 1898. She is buried in Oakland Cemetery.
