Sheryl M. Mehlhorn of Cedar Falls, Iowa formerly of Manchester, Iowa, 62, passed away Monday, May 11, 2020 at Mercy One in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Private family funeral will be held at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester, Iowa, with Russ Nesbit officiating. Private Family burial will be held at the Portable Cemetery, rural Manchester, and Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service is assisting the family.

Sheryl was born October 31, 1957, the daughter of Albert and Mary (Fisher) Kampman of Manchester. She graduated in 1975 from Linn Mar High School in Marion, Iowa. After graduation, Sheryl worked as a Child Care Provider and later as a Telemarketer for Green & Associates in Manchester. On September 13, 2014 Sheryl married Daniel Mehlhorn in Manchester. Sheryl enjoyed doing puzzles, word searches, making jewelry and playing card games such as Uno or Skip Bo.

Surviving are her daughters, Tara Kampman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Ashley Fenner of Waterloo, Iowa; grandchildren, Tyler Kampman, Brianna, Travis, and Amanda Pohlman, Lane, Dusty, and Alex Fenner; father, Albert Kampman Jr. of Cedar Falls; brother, Rodney (Judy) Kampman, Cedar Falls; sister, Rhonda DeBuhr, Cedar Falls; mother-in-law, Sharon Mehlhorn of Wisconsin; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dan Mehlhorn; her mother Mary Kampman; sister Sharon Kampman; nephew Clay DeBuhr; and stepmother Pat Kampman.
