Victor Griffin, a ten-year-old lad, was drowned while bathing in the Maquoketa at Manchester last week Wednesday.

Transcriber's Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Oakland Cemetery and was born September 26, 1894. (according to the above the date of death was probably July 22 – Find a Grave shows July 2)
