Abe Landis, a well-known resident of Manchester was killed almost instantly at Sumner last Saturday by becoming entangled in a driving belt in a grist mill.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Grant View Cemetery and was born October 26, 1857 and died April 22, 1905
