MRS JOHN WENDT
The death of Mrs. John Wendt, of Earlville, occurred at Independence on last Sunday morning at the hospital. The remains were taken to Earlville on Monday afternoon and the funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from the Lutheran church.

Lena Nieman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nieman, was born in Elk township, this county; and was thirty seven years old at the time of her death. She lived in Elk township until about ten years ago, when she removed to Earlville. She was united in marriage to John Wendt about five years ago, and is survived by her husband, two children, Louise, aged five years, and Harold, aged two years, her aged father, Henry Nieman, three brothers, Martin, Henry and Charles Nieman, all of Manchester, and three sisters, Mrs. Frank Hawker, of Spring Branch; Mrs. Ambro McElmeel, of Greeley, and Mrs. Claude Miller, of Parkersburg.
