Founder Is Dead.
Services Saturday

DYERSVILLE – Mrs. George Ham, 82, a granddaughter of the founder of Dyersville, died at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque after a long illness.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday at the Kramer Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Basilica with burial in the church cemetery.

She was born Nov. 4, 1875, daughter of Joseph H. and Anna Dyer Limback. She married George Ham on Nov. 28, 1906, at Dyersville. She attended the Dyersville Public School and is a graduate of St. Clair’s Academy, Sinsinawa, Wis. She later was graduated from the Dubuque Academy of Music and taught piano and voice before her marriage.

Her late husband was a prominent Northeast Iowa real estate broker.

Surviving are one daugjhter, Mrs. Emmett (Edith) Tolder, Dyersville.
