Services Friday for Ernest Hunt, Earlville
Special to The GazetteEARLVILLE - Ernest L. Hunt, 64, bookkeeper for the Del-Que Farm Service Co. for 35 years, died Tuesday following an illness of several months. A native of Earlville, he was active in both the Masons and the Methodist church in which he had filled various posts.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Steffen of New Vienna and two grandchildren.
Services: Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Methodist church. Masonic rites will be Thursday evening at Clifton's funeral home where friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Wednesday 22 Feb 1967EARLVILLE, la. - Ernest L. Hunt, 64. of Earlville, died Tuesday night at Delaware County Memorial Hospital, Manchester, la. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Methodist Church, Earlville, with burial in the Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Clifton Funeral Home, Earlville, where Masonic services will be held Thursday night.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Madonna) Steffen, New Vienna, la.; two grandchildren; 10 sisters, Mrs. J. C. (Stella) Robinson, Mrs. Albert (Olive) Kramer, Mrs. Phillip (Esther) Schmitz, Mrs. Harold (Ethel) Arnold, Mrs. Ray (Nellie) Salow, Mrs. Art (Gertrude) Hackbarth and Miss Helen Hunt, all of Earlville, Mrs. Albert (Edith) Binning and Mrs. Elmo (Elva) Theobald, both of Pine Bluff, Wyo., and Mrs. Leo (Myrtle) Honkomp, Stockton, Ill.; and three brothers, James, Greeley, la., and Charles, Glendive, Mont., and Harold, Salt Lake City, Utah.
